Old Fashioned

Ingredients.

• 45 mL (1½ US fl oz)Bourbon or rye whiskey
• 15 mL (½ US fl oz)Old Fashioned drink mix
• 2 dashesAromatic bitters
• To serveIce and orange peel

US fluid-ounce measures are rounded for easy pouring.

How to make it.

1. Stir the whiskey, mix and bitters with ice until chilled.
2. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
3. Squeeze an orange peel over the drink, then add it to the glass. Keep the rim plain for this classic style.
